Homemade Baby Food

Making your own baby food is super easy and totally worth it. Brian tries everything we give Bryson and he said that the baby food I make tastes much better than store bought baby food. It really isn't that hard, it just takes a little extra time but not that big of a deal really.
The website I used for my information was: Wholesome Baby Food this website tells you how to make everything. It is the instructions I followed though I will share some extra things with you.
(**-means it was one of Bryson's favorites!)

What I made:
**Sweet Potatoes
Broccoli
**Peaches
Butternut Squash
Green Beans
**Yellow Squash
** Zucchini
Carrots

Storage:
After you have pureed your baby food pour it into an ice cube tray and freeze. When your ready to feed, put a couple cubes (each cube is equal to about an ounce of food) in a bowl and heat in the microwave for about 30-60 seconds until heated through.
I would designate a baby food making day and make a whole bunch and keep it in the freezer.

To thicken: pour a little baby cereal in and stir until you reach your desired consistency.

Helpful Hints:
Sweet potatoes are awesome with a little cinnamon sprinkled into it before serving. Brian and I would steal bites of this when feeding Bryson! :)
Peaches are also awesome with a little cinnamon.
To save space: After the food was frozen in the trays I would put the cubes into a freezer bag. This way I didn't have trays taking over my freezer and it allowed me to have only a few trays that I would just rotate out.
